Recording Artists Can Now Guide & Evaluate Their Career W/ This “Point System To Live By”

5 Oct

Based on years of experience in preparing artists for longevity in the music business, Star Factory’s CEO, Brandon Smith, has put together this “point system to live by” for recording artists. This point system weights certain accomplishments in artist development, marketing and promotion based on their difficulty and attractiveness to fans AND major record labels.

Product of Star Factory, Diamond White, excels as a front runner on X Factor.

5 Oct

Diamond White walked through the Star Factory doors in 2009 looking to improve her already impressive voice for a 10 year old. After getting more than she bargained for, including world class vocal training, studio recording time, dance classes and even a brief stint in the girl group A.D.D., Diamond decided to capitalize on an opportunity to move to L.A. and has been doing big things ever since.

Currently 13 years of age, she is a front runner on the show X-Factor and is turning the heads of 8 million viewers per episode with her big voice and even bigger personality. Our management at Star Factory knows she has what it takes to beat out the competition and take home the 5 million dollar grand prize. We wish her nothing but continued success and will continue to root for her all the way. She is truly one of Star Factory’s first-class success stories. Go Diamond Go!

You can follow her on twitter @Diamondkwhite

Frequently Asked Questions

Q What criteria are you looking for in the screening process for potential participants?

A Other than pure drive and dedication, nothing in particular, but we will gauge the skill and experience level of each participant to help place them on the appropriate team.

Q What if I’m already a highly skilled producer or artist and just want to be involved in the project portion of the boot camp?

A  Although we do feel that there is always room for improvement, during the screening process, each participant may request to test-out of the 1st four week training process.

Q What if there is an imbalanced ratio of producers, artists and moguls?

A During the screening process we will account for each type of talent to ensure that the ratios level out during the competition.

Q What happens if I don’t “win” this competition?

A At the end of this competition, we will select one team who displayed the most promise to be a successful team, however, the knowledge, training and experience of this boot camp is what each participant will gain to ensure that they give themselves the best chance to “win” in the music industry. In other words, don’t register for this boot camp if excelling your skill set, connections and knowledge is not the number one priority for your music career.
